The Dreaming House
Behind a gated wall in the village of San Sebastian Xolopan, adjacent to the ancient city of Teotihuacan, lies the Casa de los Sueños.
Within its spacious compound are a dozen rooms decorated with the art of Mexico’s past, both recent and distant.
The rooms have modern conveniences, but no modern annoyances.
The atmosphere is reminiscent of the house of don Juan’s warrior's party, as described in the books of Carlos Castaneda, Florinda Donner and Taisha Abelar.
One expects time to stretch and space to bend.
Miracles seem normal, and are.
Family style dining
​
Meals are taken family-style in La Cocina (the dining room). The traditional kitchen is staffed by family members, led by your hostess, Veronica Contla Galicia.
​
Two meals (breakfast and early supper) with set menus and bottled water (for rooms and day excursions) are included as well as a light evening snack.
​
The food is also here to heal and nourish you.
My soul purpose is to serve humanity...yet my tummy is here for Veronica's food :D

The tantalizing smells and tastes of traditional, homemade Mexican cuisine is an adventure all in itself for you foodies out there.
​
And the beverages! Freshly squeezed juices daily, assortments of aromatic teas and the best coffee I personally have ever tasted, pure magic.

Each meal is a mouth-watering experience, deepening into the Mexican culture and expanding our celebration with life!
Where dreams birth into matter
The Dreaming House is a magical portal that assists you in birthing the storyline of your dreams.
The original home is over 100 years old.

Supported by the energies of the Mother, an art piece birthed by our very special Emily Grieves, the energy is palatable here as we are surrounded by the Mother's love, huge obsidian and other crystal spheres, and of course, pyramids, all here to support you along your inner journey.
​
Our group gatherings will be held in this magical space, it will also be open for you to spend individual time in here as you wish.
​
There is also a labyrinth on the property for your meditation inquiries.
