The word is made up of two separate Japanese words, Rei and Ki.

Rei means ‘the Higher Power’ and Ki means ‘life force energy.’

Thus, the word Reiki means ‘spiritually guided life force energy.’

Reiki simply refers to the energy that flows through all of life.

As we begin to understand the flow of this energy, we can assist others in their healing journey by using our

intent and will to help move the heavy energies out of their body and make room for the light energy to flow freely.
